Sunrise on the second day saw us on our way to another island which I think is called Sacred Island. | ||||||
|
Here is the chief of the tribe on the island, preparing a drink for a tourist welcoming ceremony known to tourists as a "Kava" ceremony. | ||||||

Rob and I posed for a picture too. We were told we had to wear leg covering clothes and as we only had shorts we had to buy pirau (sarongs) which Captain Cook just happened to sell. Rob wore a singlet that day and had to to buy a t-shirt. When we got to the island the locals were wearing singlets and shorts :( | ||||||

The entertainment moved inside when the rain started. Boy was it hot in the community hall. When the dancing started we were roped in pretty quickly. | ||||||
